The Coalition is changing its name, but its mission remains the same: promoting alternative fuels and clean vehicle technology to help clean the air and reduce our dependence on 
petroleum. To better identify with the national Clean Cities Program, the San Diego Regional Clean Fuels Coalition will be is changing names to the San Diego Regional Clean Cities Coalition. The name Clean Cities better recognizes the range of work we do on clean transportation beyond fuel and links us to other Clean Cities Coalition’s around Southern California and the nation. We will continue to provide education, outreach and technical assistance on fuel economy improvements, alternative fuels, idle reduction and other clean transportation technologies. We are planning interesting events for 2012 and developing new logos outreach and materials, so watch this space for these exciting changes.
