Want a Pre-Owned EV? SDG&E Offers Rebates Up to $4,000
Rebates for used electric vehicles are available from San Diego Gas & Electric through its Pre-Owned EV Rebate Program.
The program offers a $1,000 standard rebate and a $4,000 increased rebate for qualifying low-income households that purchase or lease an eligible vehicle.
Interested customers must submit a rebate application within 180 days of the vehicle purchase or lease date.
Power Your Drive for Fleets
Power Your Drive for Fleets helps fleet owners and operators transition to electric vehicles. The program connects fleets with resources, fleet-friendly charging rates and financial incentives to help design and install charging infrastructure for medium- and heavy-duty electric fleets.
San Diego Air Pollution Control District – Clean Cars 4 All Program
Income-eligible San Diego residents may receive up to $12,000 to trade in an older vehicle and purchase or lease an electric vehicle, or receive a prepaid card for public transit and/or an e-bike.
To qualify, applicants must meet program requirements related to location, household income and their existing vehicle.
Funding Opportunity from the National Lab of the Rockies
The National Lab of the Rockies will invite coalitions to participate in a funded cohort focused on either streamlining infrastructure permitting or building workforce capacity.
Participants will receive funding, tailored technical assistance, data and analytical support, and peer-to-peer learning opportunities.

CALeVIP 2026–27 Incentive Windows
Two new opportunities for CALeVIP Fast Charge California Project incentives totaling at least $55 million are coming.
FCCP-2: October 7, 2026–January 14, 2027
Incentives may cover up to 100% of eligible installation costs for DC fast chargers, up to $100,000 per charging port.
FCCP-3: February 24–May 27, 2027
Incentives will be capped at $55,000 per port, with a minimum output of 150 kW.
