Interested in making a difference this academic year? Work with Clean Cities and help the nation reduce its dependence on petroleum, lower carbon and local air pollutant emissions, and build a green economy! The San Diego Regional Clean Cities Coalition has been awarded an funding by the U.S. Department of Energy for an internship for the 2012-2013 academic year and is looking for the right student for the job.
The position will support the Coalition’s mission to increase the deployment of alternative fuel vehicles and infrastructure, and will housed at the California Center for Sustainable Energy. The student will work with regional stakeholders to research the barriers to infrastructure development, increase public awareness of technologies such as plug-in electric and compressed natural gas vehicles, and coordinate with other coalitions to explore statewide opportunities. The fellowship pays up to $8400 for the full academic year.
