The 2nd International Conference on Algal Biomass, Biofuels and Bioproducts will take place in San Diego June 10-13. The conference features some of the top researchers in the field, including many affiliated with the San Diego Center for Algae Biotechnology at UCSD. Algae-based biofuels show considerable promise as a future transportation fuel and are already making an impact on the local economy.
The conference is being cosponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Biomass program, who are hosting their own conference in July.
