Today was our first event of the year, Options and Opportunities for Alternative Fuels and Vehicles. There was a great turn-out of people wanting to learn more about alternative fuels. The event began with Greg Newhouse, our Clean Cities Coalition chairman, discussing about the coalition coming into its 16th year. Attendees then learned about state and federal incentives for alternative fuel vehicles, the county’s regional planning for alternative fuels, plug-in vehicles, and alternative fuel fleet planning.
