The Electrification Coalition has released a new report titled the “State of the Plug-in Electric Vehicle Market.”
Among the highlights of the report:
- More than 110,000 PEVs have been sold in the US since January 2011
- The uptake rate of PEVs between 2011 and 2013 has been nearly three times what is was for hybrids during their first three years
- Battery costs are expected to drop by almost half by 2020
