San Diego MTS Rolls Out New Electric Buses

San Diego MTS is introducing a $12.5 million pilot program to test new electric buses, the first of their kind in the region. These are intended to eventually replace the current fleet, which consists entirely of compressed natural gas-powered buses, as part of a state mandate to make all public transit buses zero-emission by 2040.
