San Diego Regional Clean Cities Coalition hosted an event highlighting the efforts the region is making in clean goods movement and the upcoming availability of funding for clean vehicle purchases and upgrades. The Air Pollution Control District gave an overview of the Goods Movement Emissions Reduction Program, which will offer up to $50,000 for the purchase of a new truck. This years funding will also include special consideration for zero-emission or alternative fuel vehicles. You can visit the APCD’s grants website here. The final solicitation is expected to be released in late June.
